Knowing that students at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) and their sending churches cannot contribute significantly towards the cost of study and training, the Seminary does not turn down eligible prospective students for financial reasons. ABTS relies on God and faithful partners to provide the resources needed for His ministry. Partnering with ABTS can be on one of the following projects:
Residential Student Scholarship | $10,000
Equip a leader [Man/Woman] from the Middle East and North Africa region to better serve the Church in their country. This annual amount covers room, board, tuition and books.
Sponsor an Online Student | $6,000
Enables church leaders from around the Arab world to get training without leaving their ministry. This amount supports one online student to complete his/her Certificate in Ministry.
Sponsor a Student’s Child | $6,000
Covers the room and board, and nursery/schooling for one child with this annual amount. Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) student body includes married couples with children who need appropriate nursery services or schooling. This annual amount covers the room and board, and nursery services or schooling.
Library | $20,000
Grows the library with resources that support our academic programs.
Student Laptops and Software | $15,000
Provides a first-year student with laptops to use throughout his/her time at ABTS. Students also keep the laptops upon graduation for use in their respective ministries. This annual amount covers new residential students’ laptops and software.
General Support | $10,000
Supports other aspects of ABTS ministry. This support goes to where it is needed most in the ABTS ministry.
Student Affairs | $10,000
Covers activities for ABTS residential students with this annual amount. This includes an annual retreat and engaging in relief work with refugees.
Campus Renovation | $60,000
Develops ABTS campus facilities. Current needs include installing a new generator and/or solar panels and a water pump, as well as the upkeep of ABTS buildings.
Founded at ABTS in 2003, The Institute for Middle East Studies [IMES], is a research and resource institute whose mandate is to bring about positive transformation in thinking and practice between Christians and Muslims in theMiddle East and beyond. You can support IMES’ mandate and programs through contributing as follows:
Middle East Consultation | $20,000
The purpose of the Middle East Consultation (MEC) is to equip participants to respond in prophetic and Christ-like ways to the many challenges facing Christians and Muslims in and beyond the Middle East. This amount is to support costs of MEC during the year.
MEC Bursaries for Arab Attendees | $12,000
This amount covers the travel and participation costs for a key Arab church leader who cannot afford to participate in the Middle East Consultation otherwise.
Peacebuilding Initiative | $50,000
Supports the Khebz w Meleh (KwM) Initiative. This Initiative promotes Kingdom values by bringing together religiously diverse young people to create friendships and seek common good of their communities.
Master of Religion Scholarship | $10,000
Contributes with a partial support of leaders pursuing the Master of Religion in Middle Eastern and North African Studies.
General Support | $10,000
Supports the various programs and initiatives of the Institute of Middle East Studies (IMES) including our IMES.blog.
