Liz lives just north of Houston in The Woodlands, Texas. She relocated
to Texas in the summer of 2010 when her husband, Todd received a
pastoral call from Grace Presbyterian Church. Originally from
California's Central Coast, Liz loves to travel! During her sophomore
year at Covenant College, she spent a semester studying in the Middle
East and developed a deep love for its people and culture. Following
college, Liz lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee and worked in the Office of
Undergraduate Admissions at Covenant College. Serving prospective
students from "far away," she was excited to work with all domestic
American students from west of the Rockies, Missionary Kids, and
International Students. In 2006, Liz and Todd moved to Saint Louis,
Missouri so Todd could pursue a Masters of Divinity at Covenant
Theological Seminary. While in Saint Louis, Liz served for four years
as the Director of the Office of International Student Services at
Missouri Baptist University. While working at MBU, Liz met Dr. Nabil
Costa at the Annual Meeting of the Consortium for Global Education at
Dallas Baptist University and a great friendship was born! In January of
2011, Liz joined MEBO as a Regional Development Officer.
Liz and
Todd love to have guests in their home, they have fun cooking all kinds
of new dishes, and they enjoy walking the trails of The Woodlands with
their dog, Shea.
Liz enjoys meeting new people and hearing their
stories, and has a passion for the work of God's Kingdom around the
world. Contact her today to set a time for her to share at your church
about the multi-faceted work of MEBO and its overseas partners!
