About Us

Why MEBO?

We are here, in the midst of a troubled world, spreading the Good Word of Jesus Christ through word, deed and duty.

We are here because Lebanon’s government gives Christians more freedoms than any other Arab country. There are 350 million Arabs living in the Middle East and North Africa, 94% of which do not know Christ. Our ministries are strategically positioned geographically and are easily accessible to most Arabs.

MEBO partners with Christian Arab nationals through the Lebanese Baptist Society to impact and reach the Arab world for Christ. Our ministries are open for all to see, not in secret or underground. We have a physical presence proudly shining the light of Christ across a dark region of the world. Our ministry includes training for the next generation of Christian leaders in the Arab world; publishing the message of faith and God’s word in the many languages and dialects of the region; and real, hands-on community relief and development in a part of the world which desperately desires both our works and His Word.

It is through these programs and many others that we reach out with open hearts to the Arab world and do as Christ implored – feed his sheep.
