Reaching Out to the

Middle East Bible Outreach (MEBO) is a US based organization that helps support the numerous ministries of the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development based in Beirut, Lebanon. MEBO is charged with raising funds, resources and awareness of the LSESD’s ongoing efforts to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Arab people by working with, and for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East, both Muslim and Christian.

The Middle East and Northern Africa region is home to some 350 million Arabs – 94% of which are yet to know Christ. The Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development is strategically positioned in Lebanon, a country in the Middle East that enjoys a religious freedom that renders it a center for Christians to minister to the Arab World.

Our ministry includes training for the next generation of Christian leaders in the Arab world; publishing the message of faith and God’s word in the Arabic language – the most widely spoken language in the Middle East North Africa; and real, hands-on community relief and development in a part of the world which desperately desires both our works and His Word.

It is through these programs and many others that we reach out with open hearts to the Arab world and do as Christ implored – feed his sheep.

Reaping the Harvest Campaign - 2009-2010

Our ministry focus includes the equipping of lay and church leaders for Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon; the development of much needed Arabic language resources for the region; and last but not least community relief and development mainly in Lebanon, Sudan and Iraq. The impact is God glorifying - lives are being touched every day.
